Jana Sena Backs One Nation One Election Concept

The Jana Sena announced on Friday that it would support the 'One Nation, One Election' slogan of the BJP.

Nadendla Manohar, the chairman of the Jana Sena political affairs committee, stated in a press conference at the party office that his party is prepared for a combined election.

He further informed the media that the BJP's top leaders have already discussed the issue with Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.

Highlighting the scheme's significant benefits, he emphasized the need for a broader national discussion on the issue.

He also informed the media that the party would clarify its stance once the election schedule is announced.

Meanwhile, Daggubati Purandheswari, the President of the BJP's Andhra Pradesh unit, expressed to the media that political parties would have to accept combined elections if they were to be held.

She stated that there was no alternative for political parties but to accept the Central government's proposal.

Furthermore, she mentioned that she was not aware of the program for the special session of Parliament, which is intended to discuss combined elections or other matters.

"Only a few days remain before the special session of Parliament. We will have to wait and see what unfolds during the session," she said.

eventually there'll be govts that won't rule the full 5years, and will break this perfect one nation, one election joke plan.

besides India should be looking at strengthening local administration, and not further centralizing power.

Because it's a horrible and centralises power . Imagine what happens when someone like lalu prasad becomes PM with 5 years of unopposed power

It will weaken state powers a lot and gives too much power from scum elected from bimaru states

Ideally local elections should have as much impact as central elections
