Certificate Historian DN Jha presented-

D. N. Jha rejects other false myths spread in reference to East Medieval History as well. One of these false myths commonly accepted is that Nalanda University and its library were burnt and destroyed by Bakhtiar Khilji. D. N. Jha quoting the Tibetan Buddhist scripture 'Parasam-John-Sang' that the library was burnt by Hindu blind devotees. (Source - Discovery of Hindu Identity, P. 38, D. N. Jha) Confirms his opinion historian B. N. S. Yadav also does, he wrote that "It is commonly believed that Nalanda University was destroyed by Bakhtiar Khilji while it was destroyed by Hindus. “ The historian D. R. Quoting Patil, he writes that "Him (Nalanda University) was destroyed by Shaivas (Hindus). (Source, Antiquarian Remembrance of Bihar, 1963, P. 304) R in this context. S. Sharma and K. M. Srimali has also considered in detail (A Comprehensive History of India, Volume, Part-2 (A. D. 985-1206) Upcoming Chapter XXX (b) Intelligence Footnotes 79-82

D for real. N. Jha see ancient and pre medieval history as a conflict of Brahmin-Shraman ideas-traditions and based on evidence establish that Brahminists largely destroyed Buddhist monastery, stupas and texts and mass murdered Buddhist Monks. The burning of Nalanda University and library was also part of the process. What was the form of conflict between Brahmins and Shramans. In this context, the well known Vaiyakaran Patanjali (second century) writes that "Shraman and Brahmins are each other's eternal enemies (opposition: eternal), their opposition is the same, as between snake and navle. ( Quoted by D. N. Jha, P. 34, discovery of Hindu identity)

This hostility has continued for a long time and large scale violence by Brahminists against Buddhists-Jains and other carriers of Shraman Parpara. Inaugurating this form of violence by evidence D. N. Jha establish it, Hinduism has been history of tolerance and non violence, it is a constructed false myth. The history of Hindu religion is filled with violence and intolerance. The violence was not only against the carriers of Shramana ideas, along with it widespread violence among various sects of the Vedic-Brahminist tradition, including violence between Vaishnavas and Shaivas. D in his book 'Discovering Hindu Identity'. N. Presenting evidence of widespread violence by Brahminists against Jha Shramans. Pushyamitra Shung has been described as the biggest oppressor of Buddhists in the Buddhist creation Divyavadan (third century): He goes out against Buddhists with four times the army, destroys sputas, burns Buddhist vihars and monks till Shakal (Sialkot) Goes to murder and where he announces a reward of one hundred dinars for the head of each labor. “ ( Divyavadan, S. E. B. Cowell and R. A. Miles, Cambridge, 1886, P. 433-34)

D. N. Jha writes that the hostility between Buddhist and Jain sects and Brahminists gets sharpened in the beginning of the Medieval Ages. This shows us from theological enmity lessons and the harassment between those who believe them. It is said that the entrepreneur (seventh century) had denied the arguments between Buddhist rationalists Nagarjuna and Dignag and their arguments were made more strong by Vachapati Mishra. Sanatani-Brahminist philosopher Kumaril Bhatt (eighth century) refused to accept all non-conventional movements (especially Buddhist and Jain). Kumaril says about Buddhists-Jainas "They are like ungrateful and separated children who refuse to accept the goodness of their parents, because they use the idea of 'nonviolence' as a tool for anti-Vedas propaganda There are. In the context of Buddha, Shankar (Adi Shankaracharya) says that "They (Buddha) perform unrelated delirium (unrelated-drawn) even they deliberately and hatefully lead humanity to a mess of thoughts. Madhusudan Saraswati, the commentator of Bhagwadgita of 16th Bengal, even says that the views of materialists, Buddhists and others are similar to the thoughts of Mlechha. Following Brahminist philosophers Purana (Solar Purana) does not reveal that "Charvakas, Buddhists and Jainis should not be allowed to live in the empire. “ ( Solar Purana, 64.44, 38.54)

D. N. Jha writes that the Shiv and Vaishnav campaign against Buddhists and Jainis were not just poisonous words. They began to be harassed through the middle of the first millennium, confirmed by early medieval sources. Quoting Huan Sang he writes that "Harshvardhan's contemporary Goud Raja Shashank removed the statue of Buddha. Also explains that Shiv devotee Hoon ruler Mihirkul destroyed 1600 Buddhist stupas and monastery and killed thousands of Buddhist monks and general public. “ (Samuel Beal, C-U: Buddhist Records of the Western World, Delhi, 1969, p. 171-72, quoted D. N. Jha) Important evidence of suppression of Buddhists in Kashmir is found under the rule of King Kshmgupta (950-58). He destroyed the Buddhist Vihar Jayendra Vihar located in Srinagar and used its materials to build Shremgaurishwar. ( Rajatarangini of Kalhan, 1.140-144, Quoted D. N. Jha) "The remains of the destroyed Santalis Kileband Nagar have been found in the Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, which were actually Buddhist nagar and which were destroyed by the Brahminists in the joy of their victory over Buddhism. “ ( Quote , D. N. Jha, Society & Culture in Northern India in the Twelfth Century, Allahabad, 1973, P. 436)

D giving a big example of how Brahminists had hatred towards Buddhists. N. Jha writes that meet in South India. According to an Alwar book in the thirteenth century, Vaishnav poet-Saint Thirumankai stole a large gold statue of Buddha from a stupa in Nagpattinam and used it in another temple, it was said that the order to build the temple was given to him by Lord Vishnu himself. ( Richard Ave. Davis, Lives of Images, First Edition, Delhi, 1999, P. 83) D. N. Jha presenting with evidence that Brahminists have suppressed more Jainis than Buddhists.

D in conclusion form. N. Jha writes that Brahminism was inherently intolerant... Intolerance, which often takes the form of violence, must have been getting a lot of help from military-trained Brahmins. Therefore it is difficult to digest that Hinduism incluses instead of despising. It is also impossible to believe that the essence of Hinduism in the form of Hinduism is tolerance. Similarly saying that Islam has brought violence in this country, which was not aware of it, is neglect of evidence. Long ago the arrival of Islam in India, monks and saints had become a group of soldiers and they used to fight each other. ( David N. Lorenzen, (Warrior Asotics in Indian History, Journal of the American Society, P. 61-75, quoted D. N. Jha, P. 42)

Marxist ‘historian’ DN Jha, known for alternative history and distortion of India’s ancient past, died on Thursday evening due to prolonged illness.

The 81-year-old ‘historian’, who was also a professor and chair at the Department of History at Delhi University, was infamously known for ‘secularising’ Indian history through falsifying facts to defame indigenous cultures of the land. Jha, who belonged to the school of Marxist history in Delhi, claimed to have specialised in ancient and medieval history.

Jha lied about the presence of a temple beneath Babri Masjid

DN Jha was one of the first far-left ‘intellectuals’ who peddled the lies about the non-existence of a Hindu temple underneath the Babri Masjid at Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya. The likes of Jha had gone to the extent of nullifying the historical claim over Ayodhya and its past by distorting facts about the presence of a temple beneath the illegal structure called Babri Masjid.

In May 1991, Jha and along with three other ‘historians’ had come up with a document, ‘Babri Mosque or Rama’s Birthplace? Historians’ Report to the Indian Nation’. In this document, Jha had come up with theories, as usual without any substantial proofs to claim that there was no Hindu temple under the illegal structure of Babri Masjid. However, the lies of ‘historians’ such as DN Jha were exposed by the ASI who unearthed temple remains during their excavation, which was later vindicated by the Supreme Court in its Ram Mandir judgement in 2019

Not just it, DN Jha, who was known for anti-Hindu propaganda, had also tried his luck with ‘fiction’ when he published The Myth of the Holy Cow. In this book, Jha had claimed that Hindu were the first to consume beef during the Vedic and post-Vedic period.

In the introduction of the book, Jha wrote, “The veneration of the cow has been converted into a symbol of the communal identity of the Hindus, and obscurantist and fundamentalist forces obdurately refuse to appreciate that the cow was not always all that sacred in the Vedic and subsequent Brahmanical and non-Brahmanical traditions—or that its flesh”.

This was the extent of anti-Hindu hatred the likes of DN Jha possessed which motivated them to go to any extent to defame and discredit Hindu civilizational values.

A known supporter of the Congress party and its politics, the Marxist ‘historian’ was also known for inventing facts to lie about Nalanda when he had claimed that the ancient University was destroyed by followers of Brahmanical religion, to save Muslims who had ravaged the ancient university in the 12th century. Arun Shourie, a minister of the Vajpayee government and also a Hindu scholar, had accused DN Jha of distorting history.

The Bhumihar Brahmins are a community of Brahmins who are traditionally landowners and farmers in the Indian states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand.

It's not a universal opinion. It depends on individual. It's like own family members disregarding their children for some deeds considered unacceptable. However, there's a wide spread acceptance for Bhumihars as Brahmins. Some say they're a mix of Rajputs like Kayasthas who are a said to be a mix of Brahmins & Kshatriyas who can marry from both castes.
