It's not a universal opinion. It depends on individual. It's like own family members disregarding their children for some deeds considered unacceptable. However, there's a wide spread acceptance for Bhumihars as Brahmins. Some say they're a mix of Rajputs like Kayasthas who are a said to be a mix of Brahmins & Kshatriyas who can marry from both castes.

lot of bhumiahrs also hate brahmins. Some of them were never interested in labelling thmselves as brahmins and hate brahminism .

You obviously don't know the history of people of Telugu states. Why even pretend like you know anything about North India. You have selective amnesia & extremely biased & poor grasp of history. It's a well established fact that Bhumihars are Brahmins. If you had known about something related to this, you would have also brought "Tyagis". But since you don't know anything that's not told to you, it's safe to assume you're equally ignorant about multitude of castes in Northern India!

Tyagi originally called Taga, is a cultivator caste who claim Brahmin status. The landholding community is confined to Western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan. They are often considered the highest of the agricultural castes. During the British Raj, they changed their name from Taga to Tyagi, and began claiming Brahmin status.

The name Tyagi is prevalent in both Hindu and Muslim communities. Community members who converted to Islam are known as Muslim Tyagis, Mulla Brahmin, Musalman Taga, Mahesra and Moolay Taga.

North Indian castes are different from what you are used to see in AP & TS or even TN for that matter. There's still so much for everyone to learn about each other.

The Bhumihar Brahmins are a community of Brahmins who are traditionally landowners and farmers in the Indian states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand.

Bhumihars are like Karnams in AP

LOL....first off brahmins dont agree bhumihars are brahmins. second why will they not hate each other ? every hindu caste hates each other - it is the way hinduism is designed. Reddy - kamma-kapu are all farming castes - dont they hate each other ? even brahmin sects hate each other when left to themsleves.
