Good Question Bro.. present no kids kani.. but, I'm also mindful of potential resale value down the road, so both school district quality and price are significant factors for me.

location always win... outskirts or bit away lo new build unna.. kotha illu moju hardly 3-4 months untadhi.. but you will hate the traffic and drive always.

old homes ki kuda you can have negotiation like rate buydown and price decrease

Also heard few builders and owners selling lower than list prices 90 to 100% range of list price ..but catch is list prices themselves keeping on higher side..recent comps from realtor in prosper/celina area on frontier pkway

My 2 cents…pick a community that offers good quality, safe, pleasant n peaceful living with good schools…access to freeways, shopping centers are secondary

new communities ayithe, mostly mana desi with same age grp untaru…so timepass for you, your wife n parents vachina n future lo kids ki kuda

also make sure you involve your wife n take her choice n feedback…take a collective decision 

think it’s as a once in a life time purchase n with more work from home, we spend lot of time at home 

think all the future aspects n make a decision 

good luck with your home search
