ikea vs wayfair…

since very long time…i am ikea customer…

but this week i order one bed frame from wayfair and one dresser from ikea…

seems to be assembling wise wayfair is better….than ikea….

Wayfair just a marketplace kada .. not a manufacturer ..

A lot of people like Ikea but I always found it cheap. Not worth the price tag. Furniture scratches or comes apart after a few uses. Not top quality. Looks nice initially and give a posh, practical city living look.

I did not have good experience with wayfair. However a lot of ppl here seems to have got good stuff. 

My experience, Furniture is tough to buy online quality wise. Always better to see in person and buy. I prefer costco and then local stores.

Wayfair is decent. Ikea products have better design. Ikea uses a lot of particle board. Wayfair gives you an option to choose furniture that is not made of particle board. Those items are of good quality. Mattresses in Ikea like morgedal are the closest you could find to an indian mattress. Product finish of the items on wayfair may not be as good as their picture. With Ikea, the product finish is good. This has been my experience.

Wayfair is just the platform for any seller to sell their products . Like Amazon but focused on furniture . Returns are a big hassle with wayfair .

first time buying in wayfair…so not much aware of it…
