We humans have biases based on which we operate and live our lives. Knowingly or unknowingly we get associated to brands and start to trust them. cars, phones, leaders etc. However I was thinking about movie reviews. It's given that great movies are released once in a blue moon and most movies are at best average.

Social media basically an attention economy and reviewers these days exaggerate quiet a bit. It seems to me that most of it is negative. Have the movie goers trust too much on reviewers and lost their ability to judge movie by themselves. Surely money cannot be an issue as people spend money on lots of nonsensical things and going to movie once a month should not trouble one's bank account.

It seems to me that people are waiting for reviewers to give a stamp of approval as if it is objective analysis. These reviewers have assumed the status of all knowing gurus and are even started lecturing about morality these days. How bad is it to go to a movie and watch it and trash talk about if you don't like it?

"Movie ela undanta" is a common phrase these days.

What do you guy think?

to me movie reviews chuse vallu before seeing the movie are entertained with that video.

reviewer says : move is horrible, watcher has little satisfaction in that ( 10gindha !!) . ado sadism

reviwer says: movie good then, will watch the movie .

So either ways , reviewer clicks will increase since watcher is entertained either ways while watching the review video

General psychology. Most people want to be associated with winners or buy things based on reviews or see movies based on reviews.
