Violence only proliferates when there is an opposition. Cuddapah faction was mostly one sided. YSR followers flourished big time. Regardless of who is in power. Because they always feared that YSR will become CM one day and he won’t spare anyone. His close proximity to PM like Rajiv Gandhi helped him immensely. 
 

Thus pro ysr coterie in cuddapah enjoyed unconditional domination. Only exception to this was bombulaa shiva and MV ramana teddy. But they were successfully destroyed by ysr in different ways. 
 

On the other hand, ATP and Kurnool had more friction. Even then Kurnool has more water bodies and people were busy with agriculture for the most part. 

 

But in ATP, it was the worst for two reasons.
 

it was mostly due to the fact that factionists had cassette issues. In most cases it was the case of teddys were fighting  non teddys. Tdp supported anyone who can fight against a teddy factionist.
 

And also ATP was most drought ridden district in the state. People didn’t had anything to do. They either joined naxalism or factionism
 

So I would say it’s ATP. They are also the scum of faction. Very very chaprasi level due to high poverty and lack of oppurtunities. They say some national leaders cried after witnessing poverty in ATP. It was a terrible situation over there. Most educated and smart people in ATP migrated to Bangalore and Hyd.

Kurnool has so many rivalries in each constituency. Kappatralla is particularly notorious. I believe Kurnool holds record for most number of politicians killed. Congress and TDP both had strong faction leaders not ready to back down.

My mother side is from Kurnool. I have some basic level idea of this guy. Kapatralla is like a tribal area. He was a Boya community leader. Extremely remote. I think his influence was confined to few villages in one particular constituency. KE was his God father. And KE used him big time.
 

Venkatappayaaa never messed with leaders outside these villages. He was a big time womanizer too. That’s the information I have. Never personally visited this place though.

I know Venkatappa goru was pretty loyal to KE and TDP. Pedda KE saved him from death by rivals. He had some influence in TDP though.

I heard several ministers lobbied to Babu to try and get Venkatappa an MLA seat. But it never materialized. Then he gets killed by Kotla backed rivals. Ironically Babu gives Kotla an MLA ticket.

Was he really womanizer though? Never heard that about him.

Just saying the power that these ppl from rayalaseema yielded. As humans also they are very loving and at same time crude ppl. There was a kid from this family who used to visit their relatives family in our colony and visit us as well. He was in 9th grade. After I joined job, he asked me "where is the party". I said tell me which bakery you want to go. He said in his typical slang "booju leda" I did not understand initially later understand he was trying to say Booze. I was shocked. Next yr the same kid tried to burn his aunt in our colony by pouring kerosine over her. Luckily he did not. They sent him back saying they cannot handle him. 

Another cousin of his used to be very short for his age. I referred them to a doctor in koti who is specialized in hormones. He grew after that. For what ever reason, they liked our family and till date they visit us even though their relatives moved away. I was pleasantly shocked last feb when they visited parents house and i happened to be there. 

Completely different experiences.

Not just Venkatappa goru. Kurnool jilla has so many faction leaders whether Nandyal side or Kurnool side.
