prod support anta dog bathuku inkoti undadhu bro, been there,  thankful to god that I don't have any weekend support now a days

There should be om call rotation kada anna Maa team lo 9 members rotate , first level of support monitoring alerts will be on call , alerts untayi kada , that guy if needed will call the SME 

Most of the alerts have run book

Hmm , ikada most companies are out of prod support teams bro  with cloud coming in , the pod teams own and manage no production support, qa team etc

When on-call take your work laptop around and look at issue using hotspot.

Teams should also have backup on-calls…you should make a deal with your backup on-call buddy when you are taking a longer trip out.
