Seems Telanga schools are in bad shape...

recent UDISE+ data also telling the same story as below tweet..

granted schools were not in a great state but everything is not as bad proclaimed here, they have built  1000 residential schools in last 10 years spending 1,50,000 on each student per annum. 6 lack students are in residential schools  and 6,000 students from these institutions were able to get admission into premium institutes like IIMS/IITs, government engg and MBBS etc.

this year alone they have budgeted and spent 7000 crores for upgrading public schools under 'Mana Ooru, Mana Badi’ . They are doing in a phased manner. This thread has this schools they refurbished under the program

Worst state lo unnai... no funds in past 10yrs and no new teacher recruitment. Teachers retirement age penchadam valla aa matram nadusthunai.

In my village toilets unusable state lo unte recent ga donations collect chesi renovate chepincharu.

Chestunnaru kada anni okke roju ayyipovu kada. Congress LK galle kada one of the reason for this poorly run schools in the state

see the number of inter and degree residential colleges opened in their term vs congress. They have opened modal campuses all in kind also.

This is one of the first KG to PG campus opened
