I work on contract for a client. 2 years experience e undi but inflate chesa 7 years and got the contract as senior engineer.  Good remarks unnai and good feedback undi currently.  Ippudu hiring manager asking to apply for full time with the same end client.

Interviews undochu annaru.  What's the best reason to say i'd rather stay with contract and no full time ani?  Any reasons that you can think of that i can share with them?

Entha alochinchina not striking well.   Money/salary bane undi contract lo ani cheppalem coz i dont know how much is the pay for full time.   Manager could still say thats ok atleast apply cheyi ani.   Also poraapatuna interview screw up chesthe present unna repuation povachu and i didn't want to risk it either.

Looking for inputs on any other possible ideas.

Okappudu full time chance ante chalu pandaga cheskunevallu .. ippudu reverse.

Usually internal known resource ante almost job guarantee unless other consultants are also asked. Manager adigadu ante it means, they like you as a resource. Ee time lo, its a great way to settle down in life.

Go for it. Don't fear failure.

fte lo same day lay off telustadi G lo noppi...assume your 60 day clock starts like tomorrow...

there are no lay offs in contracting...you only have to shift projects

if you are a GC or USC and your contract pays much higher than FT, stay as a contractor.

I get FT offers from every client but the pay+benefits are always like 40-45% less than contract rates.

just say you work through your own S-Corp for tax reasons and are able to write off so many expenses including home office rent, utilities, phone, internet, transportation, repairs, maintenance, postage, office supplies, 100% SEP-IRA from your company as employer's share @ 25% of your salary (0% share from you) which is free money tax-free (that 401K cannot match) which you cannot deduct any of those expenses as an individual W2 employee and will lose a lot of money. They'll understand.
