FTE only makes sense if you get sign on + base + stock + refreshers + ESPP + 401k match + parental leave + good PTO + health insurance zero

If you just get FTE with only base which most companies do then better stay as contractor

I work on contract for a client. 2 years experience e undi but inflate chesa 7 years and got the contract as senior engineer.  Good remarks unnai and good feedback undi currently.  Ippudu hiring manager asking to apply for full time with the same end client.

Interviews undochu annaru.  What's the best reason to say i'd rather stay with contract and no full time ani?  Any reasons that you can think of that i can share with them?

Entha alochinchina not striking well.   Money/salary bane undi contract lo ani cheppalem coz i dont know how much is the pay for full time.   Manager could still say thats ok atleast apply cheyi ani.   Also poraapatuna interview screw up chesthe present unna repuation povachu and i didn't want to risk it either.

Looking for inputs on any other possible ideas.

if you dont take the FT offer, you will lose job

its not a choice but a must

Please don't loose the opportunity bro, If you are on H1 transfer the h1.  I just did that mistake early this year when manager asked twice,  i did not convert to FTE & regret that decision as several Organization changes are happening and my contracting job is at risk now as they are letting go most of the contractors.

In FTE you get around 15 paid vacations, benefits including health insurance etc..  As you are already there 2 years you know all Pros and Cons, if you like and enjoy that work - transfer your h1 immediately bro. Good luck
