I think this is mostly done as they also nearing the completion of the reserviour and the works have been in for few years now, it was stopped because of clearances and got cleared last year

Pippalkoti is the name of the reserviour which I forgot, the have completed the barrage, pump house and the reserviour construction, canals and some extended works are pending, this will be operational this year or by next rainy season
