Indian expats in usa

We had a little argument today at home. Here is the situation 

 

Me and My spouse working in IT. My spouse been working for 6 years and i started 2 years back. spouse is earning 130k and i earn 80k. We both shares groceries and household expenses in the same ratio to be honest. 

 

We both look after our parents living in india. I send them 50k-60k inr every month and spouse sends 1L inr to MIL/FIL. They bought a car yesterday as they are already earning passive income every month. Whereas my parents dont earn any income and what ever money i send them goes for rent and medical expenses. 

 

I am debating with my spouse that, both salaries should put into one bundle and spend them for household expenses first and then send same amounts to our families. I know he earns more but my parents are in need than spouse’s. 

 

Whats your say on this?
