You are confusing the timeline of the events, Dalit cm was during the agitation and not a poll promise.

Even Sonia showed her conviction just to contain Jaggad to seema Andhra. No body is holy and mighty here. They all had their own hidden motives brah.
 

To be completely fair, mukkodi oratory skills and his leadership qualities were the backbone of the TG movement. After some point, even he became a mere spectator. People from all walks of life owned it. 

Other parties were forced to join eventually. Just to ensure that they were not left out.
