there are no exceptional fall colors near SF Anna may be near mammoth lakes but not as beautiful as east coast , colorado etc

how many days are you staying ?

SF city (GG bridge (cover all the views ), Sausalito , Crooked (Lombard) Street), Fisherman wharf, ), palace of fine arts for few photo clicks , Alcatrzaaaz (over rated for the hype personally for me) instead take boat ride under the bridge

Southish ,Big Sur (Highway 1, Monetary (17 mile drive touristy), There is one place called mystery spot near santacruz many of my friends liked it but can be skipped)  , inka baaga time unte Apple, Google etc offices , Stanford university

 

Lake Tahoe 5 hours from bay

Yoesemite 5 hours from bay but falls might have dried up still meadows might be ok in fall

Napa / Sonoma wineries 

Have nice time
