Batting under lights ..chasing 300+ is very very difficult. 

Pakistan chased 344 against srilanka very easily despite 34-2 from 9 overs.

Australia lost wickets regularly and failed to keep the partnership building..South Africa bowlers bowled line and length consistently..

Poor fielding from australia..otherwise 255 would have been the score

99 WC lo same situation. Lost first 2 games then went on to win it all. Someone would have to play Steve Wagh's role from 99 WC if they have to get to knockouts.

exactly like you mentioned it's combination of multiple things...

First and fore most poor management....Vallaki head and Agar gaadu injury ayyesariki back up plan ledhu..

Too much resting their A players coming into the tournament esply their All rounder Maxwell and bowlers ..mainly starc and Cummins who go by rhythm...

Lack preparation clearly shows in fielding bowling and batting...

lastly i would they are not assessing the conditions well and even though won the toss they chose the wrong decision..

I think it is hard to bounce back baa...top order fire power missing mainly head to compensate for their poor middle order...

I think opening with green instead of Marsh will be better for them going forward but frist SL medha gelavaali to get back on track which i think will be hard to bounce back

I think that's different team baa..one of the match they lost by 10 runs anukunta against Pak which was actually a close game ...this Aus looked clueless under Cummins first of all vaadu captaincy material kaadhu and also his white ball performance not up to the mark..
