Parents stay extend beyond 6 months

Folks , US vachina parents stay 6 months beyond extend cheyacha for any  reason ? If so what is the process ? Extension emaina apply chesthe future travel medha consequences vuntaya ?

Covid lo ite genuine valid reason unde but I did in 2014 or 15 while we were waiting on new home construction and family gathering etc got delayed due to builder edo konchem ala letter petamu extension approved but when they are leaving in chicago airport seems they questioned why they stayed for extra than 6 months

 

It's all luck but matter enti ante when u apply for extension in last month fo 6 months nuvvu just receipt unte saripoddi let's say parents leave in 7 th orn8th month u won't know what is decision but it will have impact if denial comes for future stamping and future visits ani vinna ..so until unless super duper needed don't do it..

No problems with extension, need to file i539, i539a, i134 follow instructions or google for them.

no issues at all , just apply and get finger printed

Visa renewal appudu issue authadi.. Extended period di legal status documentation proof submit cheyamantaru.. Unnecessary complications.

online lone ext apply cheyyochu and fee payment, documents upload everything online...nenu last yr chesa and prior to Covid as well....paper based kuda option undi but its time taking to get receipt notice etc.

Online lo process seems to be faster.

ikkada main thing is, once u apply for extn, you will get receipt notice...keep this document all the time (take scan and keep it in your email). Future lo POE, visa extns appudu aduguthaaru.

After receipt notice, finger print ki appointment pampistharu....near by office lone finger prints ichaka its all wait and watch....case approve ayyelopu next 6 months period kuda aipovachu. But they can stay in US without issue since case is pending and they can leave and go back to India as well. But fingerprints ivvakunda India velthe, definitely issue avvochu.

naa frnd valla inlaws ki ade aindhi...they left to India and then they got finger print invitation. They had to miss it and eventually no show ani cheppi deny chesaru extn. They thought its ok since they already left US ani. But next US visit lo they were denied entry to US anta.....such a mess.
