me and spouse combined total comp is 450k..but there is a difference in earning 1-2 million for regular employees like us and 25+ million

The bigger numbers are possible when not working as an employee. I have seen very few ppl from india working as employees in US and earning multi million..even VP's settle at the 4-5 million dollar mark without any debts may be but 20-25 million is a different game altogether

In the US, approximately 1.8 million people have a net worth of $20 million of more which translates to 0.6%. You need to be exceptionally talented or inherited the property from very talented parents to have that kind of wealth. Even 200k - 500k per annum is a big amount for someone who migrated from India literally with no money/ or little money (which I believe most of us). I bet 99% people who make that amount 100 -500k , don’t even make half of that if they return back to India.

india is good for retiring not for earning unless some one with exceptional talent n political connection
