Mass layoffs

Everyone talking about layoffs at party today.. but contractors are lucky as they are already doing 2 jobs..just lost 1.. but full-time people are worried saying no calls since two.weeks..h1b is timing out in 60 days.

 

Basically it is not recession but all big financial clients are moving jobs to India and cutting contractors ..high interest rate effects

Agreed..remote pani sese kadiki why hire here and pay dollars when you can get the same work done for much cheaper and pay in rupees in india

e jobs are very old..... already filled with locals and boomers. Nowadays its all the new tech kada anna to get offers.

Yes I have been saying this since last 6 months. A lot of companies are opening jobs directly in India. Fully remote without any offices. My company has sales office in gurgoan. But hired at least 10 ppl remote from other cities in India. Not head counts in US
