For Toyota and Honda, the value hardly depreciates between new and certified/used, so would recommend to buy new unless cash is a concern for now, enjoy the new vehicle , first 30k-40k miles is the best, calculate the selling price after 5 years between new and certified, I'm sure it will be the same difference (15k approx) so in other words, for interest on 15k amount you enjoy new vehicle for a few years and worry free about repairs so I think new is better value in long term
