bro. i am in same situation as you. wife is not working now. i am using DFSA to pay day care.

must be employed ani emi ledu. if they are looking for work also DCFSA can be used. it is loosely termed

You can claim it but you need to pay taxes as regular income so it doesn't serve its purpose
