Telangana TDP cadres booked for Chandrababu Naidu rally

Hyderabad: Begumpet police of Hyderabad city registered a case against the Telangana TDP Hyderabad city General Secretary GVG Naidu and other TDP cadres for taking out a rally without permission, to welcome former AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu, on his arrival in the city, after his release from prison. Naidu also participated in the rally from the airport till his Jubilee Hills residence.

Police charged them with causing obstruction to vehicular movement, causing traffic congestion, creating nuisance on the road and also not obtaining any prior permission for the rally.

Police who initiated suo-moto action on the incident said that while Naidu was on the way home, a rally was organised by GVG Naidu with around 50 bikes, 20 cars along with about 400 people.

This caused a lot of inconvenience to people and as they were restrained on the roads and those taking part in the rally also created nuisance on the roads that resulted in traffic congestion for around two hours from Begumpet to Panjagutta and and in the areas enroute the rally. Begumpet SHO Bhaksar Juttu told Deccan Chronicle that they are investigating the case.
