To give a quick view of market here is an example. In our company we decided to hire a FTE role for software developer. The package is pretty normal (not even market standards). After posting the job in less than an hour i got 400 candidate applications from every background ( like Banks, FANG, retail, u name it)

Highlight was i saw candidates from Meta and Amazon...

Never thought i will be interviewing FAANG folks as ours is a small company.

@Manishicanhere is the updated news for you.

By the way, myself too have got a recruitment agency in the UK, not a very big one but at single point in time, have at least 6-10 devs deployed at the company sites.

The stories I have been hearing since 6 months are so horrible that life in India is much better than in the UK for experienced professionals.

Some are planning to give up their ILR and surrender UK Passport and go back to India.

Bro, we are not talking about Petrol bunk or convenience stores you and your circles are working. I am sure you are not working in IT and do not have any idea on IT.  I do not know what you are getting by spreading false news. Dozens of Software professionals returned from US to India due to lack of jobs.

UK and Europe aithe assalu no need to discuss. Almost no new hires in last 6 months.

Can u elaborate on surrendering passport in UK? Is it due to high cost of living in UK?

Yeemi skills? Front desk? Data entry? First level support? Technical Support? Yes all of them pay minimum 10-12$ per hour and you can do 3-4 jobs at a time sitting at home.

All of those jobs exactly fit your description of jobs that are plenty since 2 years
