Paisal sampadisthaaa podichesthaaa ante--------Dont come. Things got super expensive in vomerica

Quality of life and to run from toxicity in India---------------------Then yes, regardless of age and status. Come to vomerica and enjoy. Struggles untayi. But it will be worth it.

This used to valid 6-8 years ago. Nowadays toxic people are all around. Can’t escape but learn to live with them. Single income less than $200k not worth in any medium size cities - with own house , cars, kids, vacations, shopping etc.

okkade ochi 2 years alaa undi save chesi pothe ante ok - but it can go sideways.

obviously it employee. given the green card backlogs and kids, is it still a viable move at the age of 40?

Gains kanna Pains ekkuva untaayi

Unless you have a strong motivation to get out of India (like hating Modi etc), moving to US will come with 3-4 yr struggle.

actually 5 yrs ago it used to be struggle, now it is a gamble.

GC system is totally broke

unless you are into niche technologies that pay you very well, its not worth coming to US

you can try coming alone and see if you earn more and then move the family

single ga aite simham la feel avachu, family tho vaste pilli la untadi

Its never too late for anything. Who knows laws related to GC might change by the time you come. Everyone's luck is different.

Your decision should be based on how much you are making in India vs salary in US. Remove all expenses in US and then compare how much savings per month you make here and in India. Kids will adjust no matter what. Only problem could be when they turn 18 and don't get a GC by then (I do not know rules, may be someone can clarify this).
