Hinduism is a made up religion that is a mixture of all religions that existed in India before its time. Its like Akbar's failed Din-Ilahi.

sadly hinduism kept its santani roots, and caste still pervades it.

just like other abrahamic religions....but Hinduism absorbed local customs & traditions....be aware if you're an abrahamic religion...your god might turn out as one of the avatars of Vishnu or some other god! 

reservations made it worse post independence, otherwise majority of the country would have disowned the castes that they were told they belong to....reservations made people embrace caste for obvious reasons!

Post Independence- India had an opportunity to unify as a country as the majority of the people belonged to some castes which r today classified as BCs/SC/STs. Caste is now perpertuated so much that people call it their identity.

before i hate religion…i try to understand every religion, nuances and philosophy… 

in fact i am passed the atheist phase and became pantheist… 

25+ theist, 10+ years of atheist 5+ years of agnostic and deistic…now pantheistic… 

 

only few half knowledge people who suddenly woke up and think like i am atheist i have to scold other religion …or i am vegan i have to to scold other non vegetarians or i am right wing i have to scold minorities…etc…dumb people…you too shall pass this phase if you use your brain correctly…don’t worry..
