its good role…but depends on how good your product is…

and what you do for your product growth…

define clear milestones/features for your product 

engage good talent like UX/marketing/development..etc to work in your team…

good product support..etc

communication skills should be top notch, not suited for most desis (not looking down on anyone, honest assessment including myself) and you have to compete with native english speakers for these roles so its a challenge with respect to communication skills

there are however some tech product manager roles that are tech heavy so you can may be compete better for those

role itself is tough, if something fails you take responsibility and you do not get credit if something succeeds

now a days there are less and less analyst/business analyst/systems analyst/product analyst/PO type roles and they are re-marketed as PM 1 , Associate PM, PM etc in most companies

Most cases you get 10-20% less than dev salaries unless you know your stuff and have skills to talk your way through a conference call of 50+ folks

Along with Communication skills -> negotiation skills and Influencing without Asserting are needed to perform well.
