Egypt is safe to go baa, no relation of the war to Egypt's tourism. It's their golden cash cow they will never let the war affect that.

One recommendation is that go with a tour booking company, we used one and it's highly recommended. Neeku kavalante I can PM you their name and person's contact number, tour guides speak good English, friendly people. Only draw back of Egypt is that there are people trying to get money everywhere by selling you worthless shitt, but having a tour guide will eliminate most of that issue as they tell them to keep away from you.

If you love history, one of the best places to see in the world. Those temples are to be seen to be believed.

why support Egypt by visiting, lots of stories about how miserable the stay was. Scams and policing like no where

I went there baa never got scammed and most of the police mind their own business. Tourism is very very important to them they usually won't bother tourists at all

always wanted to visit pyramids bro...

Pyramids were okay baa not super impressed but definitely go inside the pyramid, unique experience but a scary if you don't like heights or enclosed dark spaces.

But highlight was the Luxor Temple esp if you visit around sunset, that and Abu Simbel that's another amazing site to visit.

Alexandria is a must visit place, built by Alexander.

Nile cruise vellali baa if you visit Egypt, we did the 5 day one. It covers North to South of Egypt including all historic sites.

Expenses single or couple? For a couple it came close to around 4k including all the food, tips, etc apart from the tour package.

You need it in Egypt, locals don't speak much English and if you have to deal with them high chances they will fleece you.

Tour package offers you security from being ripped off as they deal with everything you need to do including travel arrangements.
